Veston
Inspired by Tuxedo YSL, is a warm, sweet fragrance, with a soft, toasted caramellic accord blended among dark patchouli woods and a very subtle powdery elegance that results from a Rose and violet accord that sits deep in the heart. It almost seems as if it’s going to be a gourmand. Tuxedo contains copious amounts of ambroxan, and considering the warmth, and sweet fuzzy quality of its texture, I wouldn’t be surprised if that were the case. Ambroxan is somewhat chameleon-like in the way it can take on different flavors, but it always has this distinct, warmth and fuzziness that give it dimension and a unique, underlying sweetness.

That really does happen with fragrance more than with almost any other product, since scent perception is so personal, skin chemistry changes how a fragrance develops, and everyone's frame of reference is different.
A few things that might help:
- Give it a little time on skin. Fragrances shift over the first 15-30 minutes as the top notes fade and the heart notes come through, so the first spray isn't always representative of how it wears.
- If it's still not working for you, we're happy to help. Let us know if you'd like to explore an exchange for something closer to your preference, and we can point you toward a few alternatives based on what you didn't like about this one.
